詩在弦上吟 “Poetry on Strings”

This month, we are thrilled to have our Artistic Director, Andy Lin and Pianist Fei-Fei to talk about music for Erhu (Chinese Violin). Andy is not only a violist but also a fantastic erhu player. He will introduce one of his favorite poems “Newly Weds Departure 新婚別” by the famous Chinese poet Du Fu 杜甫 and discuss how composers transform the poem into music for erhu and piano.
